New site Safety Stations rolled out to branches

The 'site safety station' idea was conceived during the 'site audit' process carried out by our Health and Safety team. No 'off the shelf' product could be found to meet our needs, therefore bespoke stations were designed and built 'in house'.

The design allows for quantities of flammables to be adequately and securely stored, provides a work desk and back board which allows for the display of all company and project specific H&S documentation and the secure storage of a variety of other H&S equipment appropriate to each project. Other design requirements included manoeuvrability, quick to set up and to create an immediate impact to ISS staff and clients by providing a designated point where H&S information can be communicated and sought.

20 stations have now been built at a cost of approximately £1,000 each and rolled out across our business.

ISS Restoration utilises its 'Property Team Leaders' (PTL) scheme to provide customers quality and value when handling small commercial and property investor/ residential type claims.

Since its launch in 2011, ISS Restoration's Property Team Leaders scheme has proved highly successful in effectively and efficiently managing small commercial and residential type claims.

Property Team Leaders are BDMA and ISS trained 'multi discipline' individuals capable of Assessing, Project Managing, Supervising and working on small disaster recovery and restoration projects.

The project managed approach taken by ISS Restoration on all claims addresses many of the insurance industries concerns, ensuring a correctly scoped, professionally undertaken and cost efficiently managed delivery of disaster recovery works benefiting both the Insurance industry and policyholder alike.

PTL builds on this principle making it more practical for a small claim. Claims are routed and controlled through one 'national' administration team. Shorter, concise but still fully costed reporting is used.

Also because smaller claims are more suited to ISS adopting a 'get on with it' approach, savings in claim and drying cycle are regularly achieved through prompt response and mitigation, close communications and minimal claim touches / visits to site.

PTL teams consist of a Property team leader (pictured above) with restoration technician 'buddies' located strategically around the country, often closer to claims and therefore can respond quickly to new instructions. Teams cover the Northern England, Midlands, South West and particularly the London region serving 'property owner' claims.

Service and a positive policyholder experience remains paramount and PTL delivers swift and meaningful mitigation and restoration work commencing at first site visit - but all at a cost acceptable for the smaller claim – A great combination of quality and value for Loss adjusters and Insurers alike.

To instruct ISS on your next small property claim, contact the PTL Administration team directly on 01889 570777 (selecting option 2)
